Most training plans fail on the calendar, not in the gym

A program that only works while everything in your life cooperates is not a program, it is a good month. The plans that hold up are the ones built around your actual schedule, your actual recovery, and numbers measured on your own body rather than borrowed from a template.

That is why GevityFit starts with data where it matters: VO2 max, resting metabolic rate and body composition testing exist so the plan is built on what is true about you, and so progress is measured instead of guessed.

How it works

  1. Talk first

Call or email and say where you are and where you want to get. In person in Millcreek, online anywhere, or a mix of both.

  2. Assess and baseline

Movement, history and goals. Where testing helps, VO2 max, RMR and DEXA give the plan real numbers to start from.

  3. Train the long game

A program that survives real weeks, adjusted as your numbers move. Strength, conditioning and mobility, in proportion.

Questions we get asked

Do I have to train in person?

No. Coaching runs three ways: in person in the Millcreek studio, fully online, or hybrid with periodic in-person sessions and online programming in between. The right mix depends on your schedule and how much hands-on coaching your goals need.

I have never trained with a coach. Is this for me?

Yes. Inclusivity is one of the four values the whole practice is built on: programs are written for your current level, whatever it is, and progressed from there.

What is VO2 max testing and why would I do it?

VO2 max measures how much oxygen your body can use at full effort, and it is one of the strongest single markers of cardiovascular fitness. Testing gives you a real baseline and exact training zones instead of estimates from a watch.

What does a DEXA scan tell me that a scale cannot?

A DEXA scan breaks your weight into lean mass, fat mass and bone density, region by region. It shows whether a program is adding muscle and removing fat, which a bathroom scale simply cannot see.

What does coaching cost?

It is quoted after a conversation, because a subscription program, 1:1 coaching and a testing package are different commitments. You will know the price before anything starts.
